You can ask Iman Buddy about the Quran, prayer, fasting, faith, daily practice and Islamic topics in general, or simply talk through something on your mind. It is designed to listen first and answer with care, often pointing you to a relevant Quran verse. You can also open a chat about the day's verse or dua to reflect on it.
Are the answers sourced?
When a Quran verse is relevant, Iman Buddy cites it by surah and verse number, shown as a tappable reference so you can read the verse in full. It does not cite hadith. Like any AI, it can make mistakes, so check important matters against the Quran itself and with a qualified scholar.
Can I ask in different languages?
Yes. Iman Buddy replies in the language your app is set to, which can be any of the 11 app languages, including English, Arabic, Turkish, Urdu, French, Indonesian and Malay.
Is Iman Buddy a replacement for a scholar?
No. Iman Buddy is a learning tool designed to help you explore Islamic knowledge conveniently. For complex fiqh matters, personal rulings, or critical religious decisions, always consult a qualified Islamic scholar.
Is my conversation private?
You do not need an account to chat. To generate a reply, your messages (with the earlier messages in that conversation) are sent to our server, which passes them to a third-party AI provider. Our server keeps operational logs of requests. The app does not save your chat history, so each new chat starts fresh. See the privacy policy for details.
