What is Iman Path?
Iman Path is a free Islamic companion app for iOS that brings together prayer times, a full Quran reader, Qibla compass, AI chat (Iman Buddy), a daily Quran verse with a matching dua, and an Islamic calendar — all in one app. It supports 11 languages and is designed to help Muslims strengthen their daily practice.
Is Iman Path free?
Yes. Iman Path is free to download, and its core features are free for everyone. An optional Premium subscription unlocks extra features for those who want more and want to support development.
What languages does Iman Path support?
The app interface is available in 11 languages: Arabic, English, Turkish, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Kazakh, Indonesian, Malay, and Urdu. Quran translations are available in 10 of them, every language except Arabic, where you read the original Arabic text.
Is Iman Path available on Android?
Currently, Iman Path is available on iOS only. An Android version is actively in development. You can join the waitlist on our website to be notified as soon as it launches.
Prayer Times
How are prayer times calculated?
Prayer times are calculated using your GPS location with support for multiple calculation methods including ISNA, MWL, Umm al-Qura, Diyanet, and more. The app automatically adjusts for your location so you always have accurate times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha. Learn more about prayer times.
Can I get adhan notifications?
You can get a notification at the start of each of the five daily prayers and choose which prayers you want to be reminded of. Notifications use your device's standard notification sound. The app does not currently play the adhan audio. See prayer time features.
Does the prayer times feature work offline?
Yes, once your location is set, prayer times are calculated locally on your device without needing an internet connection. The exception is the Diyanet (Turkey) method, which loads official times when you are online and uses saved times when you are offline.
Quran
Can I read the full Quran in the app?
Yes, Iman Path includes all 114 surahs displayed in beautiful Uthmani script with translations available in 10 languages. You can scroll continuously through the entire Quran or jump to any surah. Explore the Quran reader.
Does Iman Path have Quran audio?
Yes, you can listen to the Quran from a choice of well-known reciters. The verse being recited is highlighted so you can follow along, and playback can continue automatically into the next surah. Audio streams over the internet. Learn more about audio features.
Can I bookmark Quran verses?
Yes, you can bookmark your favorite verses for quick access later and track your reading progress across sessions. The app remembers where you left off so you can continue reading seamlessly.
Is the Quran text in Uthmani script?
Yes, Iman Path uses the authentic KFGQPC Uthmanic Script with proper diacritics and tashkeel. The text is rendered with a dedicated Arabic font to ensure accurate and beautiful display of every ayah.
AI Chat
What is Iman Buddy?
Iman Buddy is an AI-powered Islamic assistant built into Iman Path that answers questions about Islam, the Quran, and daily practice in a warm, conversational way. When a verse is relevant, it cites it by surah and verse as a tappable reference. It does not cite hadith. Learn more about Iman Buddy.
Is Iman Buddy a replacement for a scholar?
No, Iman Buddy is an educational tool designed to help you learn about Islam and find information quickly. For religious rulings (fatwa) and matters requiring scholarly authority, always consult a qualified scholar or your local imam.
Are my conversations with Iman Buddy private?
No account is needed to chat. To generate a reply, your messages are sent to our server, which passes them to a third-party AI provider, and our server keeps operational logs of requests. The app does not save your chat history, so each new chat starts fresh.
Privacy & Data
Does Iman Path track my data?
No, we prioritize your privacy. Iman Path never sells your personal data and has no ads or cross-app tracking. We use anonymous usage analytics only to improve the app. See our privacy policy for full details.
What data does the app collect?
Iman Path collects only the minimal data needed for core functionality — primarily your location for prayer times and Qibla direction. Your settings, reading progress, and location stay on your device. Messages you send to Iman Buddy are sent to our server to generate a reply. See our privacy policy for complete details.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Your app data is stored on your device, so deleting the app removes it. There is no account to delete. For any other data-related requests, contact us at support@imanpath.app.
